In July 2018, students from North Andros will be immersed in a ten-day cultural exchange opportunity here in Central Ohio. During their visit, they will participate in personal, academic, and helpful development programming.
Sample activities in
clude tertiary education tours, personal statement/job application support and resume development, tours of local agricultural and world-class medical facilities, trips to the nationally ranked Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and Zoombezi Bay Waterpark, and a service project designed to familiarize students with life in various Central Ohio communities.
Applications were approved based on personal character, school attendance and behavior, and overall potential for success in the program. Grade point averages were considered but were not be the sole determining factor.
